The index is free. After that you pick what fits.
Anyone can view and query the Cracks Index for free. If you work with the data, there is Pro Research. If you are a municipality or housing association, you can claim your own area score and track it over time. One page, three clear choices.
The public index, free
The full ranking, every country and area in detail, the fix, the Cracks Clock and the open dataset. For everyone, no account needed.
- ✓ The full ranking of countries, regions and municipalities
- ✓ Per area the score, the six indicators and the fix
- ✓ The open dataset under CC-BY-4.0
- ✓ The public MCP server and the read-only API
The public index stays free. Nothing changes about that.
Pro Research
Pro Research adds depth for people who work with the data: how an area develops over time, how it compares to similar areas, and the raw data to build your own analysis.
Pro Research delivers aggregated area data only. Never data about individuals. And no promise of a higher score. You buy data, not an outcome.
Pro Research
Paying yearly saves you about two months.

Claim your area score
The index shows how your municipality or housing stock stands today. But a single snapshot does not tell you whether things are getting better or worse. Claim your area score and you track the performance of your social safety net over time, from one shared picture.
Track performance over time
See whether the cracks in your area are widening or narrowing, snapshot after snapshot, instead of guessing.
Benchmark against similar municipalities
Compare your area with municipalities or associations of a similar size and make-up, so a figure gains meaning.
See the priority intervention
The index points to the indicator that weighs heaviest. That tells you where the first step delivers the most.
The area score is the first step towards the Fynqo portal for municipalities and housing associations: one situational picture, a warm handover and measurable effect. In a demo we show you how that works for your area.

Does anything change about the free index?
No. The public ranking, the per-area pages, the fix, the open dataset and the MCP server stay free and open. The paid layer is separate from that.
What is the difference between Pro Research and an area score?
Pro Research gives a researcher or journalist depth in the data: history, benchmarks and export. An area score is for municipalities and housing associations that want to track their own area over time and act on it together.
What does an area score cost?
An area score is not an off-the-shelf subscription. It is the first step towards the Fynqo portal for municipalities and housing associations. In a demo we look at what fits, then a tailored proposal follows.
Can I cancel Pro Research monthly?
Yes. Research can be paid monthly or yearly. Paying yearly is cheaper.
Do I get a guarantee of a better score?
No. The index and the portal provide data and context, not a promise about an outcome. What an area does with those insights is up to the area.
